Early to mid 20th century, red silk ground is embroidered with flora and ornate butterflies with phoenix style tails, opens to the front with golden buttons along a black ground textile border that is repeated at the wide sleeve cuffs, the cuffs are sage green silk ground with vases of flowers, some in the "Forbidden Stitch," interior of robe is lined with salmon colored fabric.
