A Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Medallion Platter and Chestnut Basket

19th and 20th century, porcelain hand painted in Rose Medallion pattern with colorful enamels against a gold ground with traditional decoration of shaped medallions alternating between birds and flowers and figures in architectural scenes, includes a serving platter (2 x 14 7/8 x 12 in.)(several rim chips and loss of gilt) and a chestnut basket (3.5 x 10 x 8 5/8 in.).
