A Chinese Box with Porcelain Cover

20th century, domed porcelain cover painted in a famille rose palette with two female deities flying amidst clouds above a group of figures gathered below by the water, set into a white metal frame, the bottom of the box is white metal as well, raised decorative bands on the edges of the metal cover and box.
