Mid to late 19th century, wax and polychrome relief portrait, float mounted within a gilt oval slip with crimson and ochre velvet backing, presented in a lacquered wood shadowbox frame, inscribed to verso.

Frame dimensions 8 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 1 1/4 in.

Appears in good estate condition, not examined out of the frame; some minor marks to frame and upholstered backing.
