20th century, an unusual vase with diamond shaped mouth and neck leading to a wide oval shaped body over a shaped short foot, finely hand painted in underglaze blue with lotus flowers and scrolling vines surrounding roundels, one with a female figure on outdoor veranda with an incense burner, and the other with a crane flying over a pine tree, key motif encircles foot, lappet leaves to the neck, underside with an apocryphal Qianlong mark in underglaze blue.
