Meiji period (1868-1912), scalloped rim and ribbed body, the porcelain center bowl is hand painted in a vivid jeweled Imari palette with iron red, cobalt blue, green, and traces of gilt, bands of textile patterns to interior and exterior with large shaped roundels containing either egrets by a stream with irises or a large singular floral bloom, foot with xoxo pattern, underside with an iron red and gilt flower.
