Old Sheffield Plate Covered Warming Dish

Early 19th century, mark of Creswick & Co., scalloped square form with sinuous foliate handles raised on downswept foliate feet, interior with removable tray insert, conforming lid having armorial engraved crest with banner reading "Je Me Fie En Dieu" (I Trust in God).

7 3/4 x 12 1/4 x 9/34 in.

Some light scratches and minor small dent; lid is ill fitting to base; otherwise good estate condition.
