Late 19th century, both tempera and gilt on wood panel, the larger depicting the narrative of the seven sleeping youths of Ephesus sealed within the cave and placed in miraculous sleep, the Madonna and child above in arched niche between two saints (13 3/4 x 12 1/4 in.); the second a small icon depicting Saint Daniel in the lion's den, with Christ above and likely Persian emperor Darius to upper right (3 1/2 x 2 7/8 in.).
