Mid to late 19th century, the larger in mahogany veneers and inlaid bone escutcheon, open storage interior (6 x 12 x 8 3/4 in.) (minor veneer cracks, surface wear to edges); the smaller in tiger oak veneers, with dark wood borders, inlaid escutcheon, and inlaid cartouche monogrammed "C. H," open storage interior with later green paper (4 1/2 x 9 x 7 5/8 in.) (some areas of border loss, paper peel to interior). Both without keys.
