Attributed NC, Two Signed Stoneware Jars

The first is alkaline glazed one gallon with high collar and straight sides inscribed "D 1" (10 1/2 in.) (good condition); the second, salt glazed, features a flat rim over a band of inscribed lines, incised "JB" ( 7 in.) (two rim chips, underside damage).
