Wood fired stoneware, alkaline glaze with 'in-the-round' tan glazed vertical runs, domed cover with finial, inscribed on the upper rim of the jar "Big D," jar and cover are decorated with incised circlets.

23 x 21.5 x 21.5 in.; HOA with cover 28 in.

Good condition; glazed fill firing line to the underside.
