Meiji period (1868-1912), circa 1910, a cigarette case decorated on both exterior sides with very fine decoration of a Japanese garden landscape with Mt. Fuji above and on the reverse large roses or peony blossoms, the interior with two holders for a band, band now missing, with a gilt mark of Seibei Komai (Otojiro II) to one side of interior.

Overall good estate condition; some tarnishing and discoloration to interior; missing strap for interior.
