Korean Blue and White Porcelain Jar

Joeson period (1392-1910), 19th century, round shaped porcelain jar with thick white ground glaze, handpainted in underglaze blue with ruyi style cloud band below the neck and large sprays of peonies on vines encircling the body.

5 3/4 in., 6 in. diameter

Star hairline crack to underside; hairline crack to mouth rim; some scratches and pitting to surface; unglazed rim.
