Before 1930, its telegraphic and printing mechanisms mounted in a brass frame stamped with serial No. 5183 and D & H / PRECISION TOOL CO./ NEWARK, N.J.; the machine resting on a custom wooden base. Included with the machine is a glass dome (with crack separating in two pieces, taped repair).

Chipped paint with some old touch-ups; light oxidation and rust spotting to mechanism; glass dome is cracked and assembled with tape.
