A Pair of Chinese Carved Hardstone and Brass Bookends

Late 19th century, carved hardstone with warrior figure amidst birds and flowers, the center of the oval carved panel has an orange, possibly agate, circular carving of peaches or flora, mounted on a scalloped edge brass bookend with green felt to reverse and underside.
