American Classical Mahogany Sofa

Attributed to Philadelphia, circa 1825, shaped and scrolled crest rail, striped upholstery with bolster pillows, scrolled arms, seat rail and arms with incised beading and applied ormolu mounts, paneled down-swept front legs, brass paw feet on casters.

Later upholstery in good condition; later bracing to underside of legs; tight hairline crack to left/right rear crest rail areas; cut/patch/repair to front right/left arm facings; left rear caster attached but loose.
