Two Working Duck Decoys

Mid-century, carved and painted wood, both with attractive raked surface texture, including a Mallard hen by Victor Animal Trap, with glass eyes, carved initials to underside (7 x 17 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.); the smaller of a swimming bluebill, with weighted underside, unmarked (5 1/2 x 16 3/4 x 3 1/2 in.).

Both with some paint rubbing and loss, some wear to bill and tail; each with stable separation to neck; hen with later nails.
