Born and raised in Baltimore, Edward Rosenfeld grew up wanting to be a sign painter. After working for Standard Oil in this capacity, he studied fine art at the Maryland Institute College of Art. He is well known in his beloved city for scenes of everyday life along the city streets and harbor.
