Frame dimensions 15 x 19 in.

Harry Hoffman was originally from Pennsylvania. Encouraged by his family, he pursued his art studies at Yale University, the Art Students League in New York and the Academie Julian in Paris.

In 1905, Hoffman settled in Old Lyme, Connecticut as a full member of the famous artist colony. To escape the cold New England winters, he and his wife would travel south - where Hoffman would turn his painterly eye towards capturing the bright landscapes and scenes from Savannah, Georgia to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and even the Galapagos Islands of South America.

Good estate condition.
