1940s, Tochiku Industry Co., Japan, including a pair of two tiered tables (22 x 32 x 11 in.) and a double pedestal coffee table (17.5 x 40 x 22 in.), appears unmarked.

Purchased in Tokyo after WWII by a state department employee who brought it back to the states with her when she returned home in the late 1940s.

Fair, as found condition; the coffee table with detached pedestals, the top is separating and in poor condition (though able to be used to reproduce a similar top, the pedestals are structurally sound); one table with good golden finish, the other table with grey weathered condition and some broken cane wraps.
