Framed Display Showing Britain's Famous "Penny Black" Postage Stamp

Long touted as being the world's first postage stamp, the "Penny Black" appeared in 1840 with an effigy of the then youthful Queen Victoria. The present example has been cancelled and is presented in wooden frame with gilt highlights.
