Lot Details & Additional Photographs
1980s, molded laminated maple, pierced back, stacking form, unmarked.
24.5 x 19 x 17 in., seat height 12 in.
This is a variation of the notable Bodyform chair by Danko Studios that landed Peter Danko in the MOMA's collection of design and architecture. It is composed of a single blanket of maple plywood pressed in a form to create the shape. A notable design detail is that the plywood is thicker (with an extra ply) at the back legs all the way up to the back.
Some surface scrapes and signs of use; overall good stable condition.
