A Japanese Basket and Bronze Ikebana Vase

19th century, includes a woven circular basket, braided weave to exterior sides and tighter basket weave to interior, and a two-part bronze usubata ikebana vase with ribbon cord bow decoration in gilt bronze to upper body, raised on three foot base, large circular arrangement platter to the top.

Basket 7 in., 16 in. diameter; Vase 9 3/4 in., 11 1/4 in. diameter

Both in good estate condition; bronze has some spots of wear and discoloration.
