Meiji period (1868-1912), raised on four elephants standing on a three tiered mount with two styles of champleve patterns and top tier cast with archaic pattern, column has some sections with champleve decoration, cast bronze patterning, and others as plain bands of bronze, bowl to the top for either holding a candle, incense, or for a light fitting.
