18th Century Venetian Giltwood Girandole Mirror

Carved wood, gesso and gilt, with foliate and c-scroll rocaille borders surrounding a conforming mirror, retains girandole mount to center apron.

35 x 19 1/2 x 5 3/4 in.

Later mirror and nails to verso; lacking candle arm from center of apron; a few areas of wood loss to edges; some old insect damage; cracks and associated repairs.
