Attributed to the Kneeland & Adams shop, Hartford, circa 1792-1795, white pine secondary, molded two board top, dovetailed case, four graduated conforming drawers with scratch bead in the solid, distinctive front ball and claw feet, rear ogee bracket feet.

Private Collection, Greensboro, North Carolina Chalk script to underside board "Samuel A. L..." Also note the dado joined top.

Later brasses; feet are original but include: three later spur tips, left rear foot facing tipped lower two inches, rear foot bracings re-braced; right stile with shrinkage split.
