From the Personal Collection of Philip and Susan Harvey George Midgett enjoyed shorebird hunting with his friend and brother-in-law John Allen Midgett, Sr. Depending upon weather and rainfall conditions, they would either hunt near the ocean or the marshes near where Pea Island Refuge is today. Original paint, chip to nose where bill is inserted. Corrosion to iron elements.
