Large Trade Sign Canvasback Decoy

Circa 1950, carved and painted wood.

Length 38 in.

This large and very heavy decoy was carved to attract sporting customers and not ducks. It was probably used in a storefront window as it shows no signs of being displayed outdoors. It has a turned head to the left.
