Anne Françoise Couloumy is often called "La Hopper Francaise" by French art critics. She graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 1987. Since her first Paris show in 1994, she has garnered international attention for her emotionally charged and seemingly still interior scenes.
