Ithaca, New York, circa 1880, Classical form walnut case decorated with foliate and floral ebonized carvings and turned columns, brass 8-day time and strike movement, with count wheel strike mechanism, 4-inch upper clock dial with pierced spade silvered hands on original silver and black paper dial, lower 7-inch 31 day calendar dial with silvered date numbers and crescent hand, signed on the calendar, includes silvered gridiron pendulum with etched bob, and key.

From the Estate of the late Murray Gibson James, Esq., Maple Hill, North Carolina Clock was running when tested, with chiming mechanism in functioning order; some areas of silver loss primarily to upper dial; crack to center pediment; some minor areas of spotting to metal and old insect damage; later backing and mounting block to upper case.
