Edo period (1615-1868), includes twelve prints depicting Chushingura or the Loyal Retainers, based on the story of the forty-seven ronin and their mission to avenge the death of their master, Asano Naganori, each with backing paper, presented loose.

Sheet size 14 x 9 1/2 in.

Overall good estate condition; all with light backing paper; some light rubbing and wear; one print with repair along left side; good color.
