18th century, porcelain bowl with scalloped rim, hand painted in underglaze blue with elegant female ladies alternating with large floral peony blooms within radiating petal registers surrounding a central image of a seated lady by a lotus flower arrangement on raised stand, marked with a single character within two blue circles to the underside.
