Chinese Porcelain Blue and White Charger with Peonies and Phoenix and Brush Pot

19th century, porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue, includes a large charger with diaper print border containing shaped medallions decorated with butterflies surrounding a large central scene of a phoenix standing regally amongst large peony blooms, exterior sides with bamboo decoration, and a brush pot decorated in loose brush stroke manner with peony blossom.
