A Chinese Porcelain Storage Pot with Cover

Late 19th century or early 20th century, cover a double peach finial and painted with ladies reading in a lush garden together with a calligraphic inscription, the body of the jar is flanked by pairs of lug handles, a calligraphic inscription to one side of body with red seal, the other side decorated with elegant ladies gathered under a blooming tree on a veranda, a four character mark in iron red to underside of pot.
