Grosvenor, Editor of National Geographic magazine, penned "To Mrs Daniels from Gilbert Grosvenor Feb 1918 on a front free endpaper. The book is 10 in. tall, bound in full calf with gilt to top board, spine and page edges; paste downs are silk.

The Estate of the late Frank Daniels, Jr. and his wife Julia Jones Daniels, Raleigh, North Carolina. A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Museum of History Foundation

Mrs. Daniels was married to Josephus Daniels, U.S. Secretary of the Navy during WWI.
