The first being a CDV of an earlier daguerreotype that depicts a uniformed junior officer, possibly English or Continental; the second image, a tintype, shows a more mature individual with similar features. This much later image carries a dealer's label suggesting the tintype is the same person who is shown in the CDV. Your call.
