A Japanese Woodblock Print Moonlight

Dated 1970, on handmade paper, black ink monk and attendant figures, ladies dancing around a pagoda in the courtyard under a white full moon with white cranes flying into the scene from the left, signed in pencil "56/200, Moonlight, 1970, B. Hisoga," to lower right of the paper together with a red seal, presented loose.

11 1/2 x 16 in.

With mat bleed to edges turning paper blue; paper mounting tape remains along the top margin.
