Late 19th or early 20th century, a Chinese desk, this style often referred to as a "Doctor's desk," consists of six parts that can easily be disassembled for travel, two pedestals on left and right stack on one another, the central writing panel fits into the pedestals, below a reticulated foot rest stretcher is attached.
