Serial number 225127, 32-5/8 in. barrel chambered for 45-70 cartridges, stamped proofs and eagle head markings; long distance sight; two bands with sling swivels; lockplate stamped US / SPRINGFIELD with eagle behind; walnut stock with iron mounts throughout.

Overall length 51.5 in.

Smooth working action; some pitting and old cleaning to metal elements; sound walnut stock with some scattered dings. Overall good condition.
