Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Core Sound, circa 1910, carved and painted wood, iron stake, loosely mounted on a vintage wood base.

Length 8 in.

Former collection of Wayne Davis, original founding member of Core Sound Decoy Carvers Guild.

A very attractive beetle headed beach robin. The maker is unknown but the rounded head is reminiscent to those carved by Irvin Morris.

Original paint worn to bare wood in places, corrosion to iron stake.
