North Carolina Federal Tiger Maple Chest of Drawers

Attributed to Cleveland County, circa 1810-20, yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case, three upper side-by-side drawers above four graduated drawers, all with applied cock beading, scalloped skirt, straight bracket feet.

48.5 x 39 x 19 in.

Top surface with tight shrinkage crack; all drawer interiors with paper lining; drawer runners crudely rebuilt and need proper restoration; later drawer guides; small chip/loss at right front facing; back boards are original but reset; some cock beading loss.
