Stant White decoys are very old market hunting birds with classic form and some of the finest carved from North Carolina. The bodies have a distinctive pointed breast and the heads are very folksy, possibly carved with the point of a hatchet. They are some of the most collectible old folk art decoys from North Carolina, a blacksmith hand cut nail for rigging.
Old gunning paint taken down, working repair to the neck, multiple age checks, hit by shot on the right side.
