Length 37 in.
A stunning yet primitive early Blue Heron decoy attributed to the eastern shore of Virginia where it was collected. The body is 5 in. thick and there is an old metal brace securing the neck to the body. The decoy is presented on a custom cradle stand which rests on a handmade box.
Multiple age checks in body and head, some wood decay with wood loss on the back right side and under the body, two carpenter bee holes under body.
