Serial number 311388 on left side of the action, action marked U.S. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1898, 30 in. barrel, .30 cal., bolt-action, integral side loading gate, and folding sight, in script and ornate LLA 1907 cartouche engraved on wrist of stock, grasping grooves of fore-end of stock. Will require FFL transfer.
