Charles Edwin Kinkead was original from Pennsylvania. He studied at the Boston Museum School and in Paris before settling in New Haven, Connecticut. He was a member of the Salmagundi Club in New York and one of the "Three Islesford Painters."

Light surface grime; very minor scratch to frame; overall in good estate condition.
