First quarter 20th century, both marked with the company logo over STERLING ON BRONZE / PAT.AUG.27.12; the first humidor of rectangular lidded box form, numbered 4076 / 7, with sterling silver applied in Art Nouveau arabesque patterns (3-1/4 x 10 x 6 in.); the second of cylindrical lidded form, with Arts & Crafts design in sterling silver, numbered 2609, and stamped with retailer mark of R.H. Macy & Co. (6-1/4 x 6 x 6 in.).
R. H. Macy & Co. would, of course, become Macy's department store in due time.
Possible loss to top center motif of the box, its interior with some green verdigris; allover age toning; the jar with some rub to the base, else very good condition.
