Large Continental Figural Carved Wood Torchiere

19th century, with traces of old gesso and polychrome, depicting a 4 ft. female in contrapposto wearing a headwrap, upper surface carved for use as torchiere, mounted within a later teak wood base.

Some scattered cracks and areas of wood loss; missing right pinky; old wax residue.
