Red earthenware, painted and unglazed, the first is a Day of The Dead rider (7 x 4 1/2 in.); the second is a chained man within a tub of fire (11 3/4 in.); the third depicts a man in a shower stall (14 1/2 x 7 in.). All are signed inscribed in the clay.

Josefina Aguilar is a Mexican folk artist from Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca. She is part of the Aguilar family known for its ceramic art. She is best known for her small clay ''Day of the Dead" as well a portrayal of everyday village life.
