20th century, mahogany with ebonized highlights, one part form, the arched hood with central plinth, dial with Roman numerals and figures in each corner, pierced side apperatures, rear hinged glass door with brass works, waist with applied burl wood panel, the lower case with highly figured burl wood, scalloped skirt, French feet, with pendulum and winding key.
