Joe Owen (Moore County, NC, 1910-1986), Two Tall Vessels

A Rebecca ewer (21 3/4 in.) and a double handled vase (17 1/2 in.), variegated medium blue glazed earthenware, both feature the potter's signature raised band of decoration at the upper shoulder, both are stamped on the underside "JOE OWEN".
